A quick look at the main parts of Goose and what each one is for. Each has its own guide.

The left rail

The rail down the left side of every page takes you around Goose:

  • Home shows what needs you today: your next meeting, your to-do queue and your deals.
  • Meetings shows this week and next at the top, and every meeting, past and upcoming, in the table below. Press a meeting to open it with its deal, the people, and the summary Goose wrote.
  • Deals is your pipeline: the forecast at the top, and every deal and its stage below.
  • Contacts lists everyone Goose has met or emailed, with their company, their role on a deal and when you were last in touch.
  • Companies lists every company, with its people, open deals and last touch.
  • Search (⌘K on a Mac, Ctrl K on Windows) finds deals, companies, people, meetings, notes and settings. Type > to run a command instead.
  • Ask Gus (⌘J or Ctrl J) opens the assistant. Ask about your deals and meetings in plain words.
  • Activity opens a panel with two tabs: For You, the work on your deals and what needs you, and Organization, what's moving across your workspace. Team leads and admins also get a Team tab.

Your account menu, with Settings, is at the bottom.

Walk through it

  1. Start on Home. Your next meeting sits at the top with its prep. Below it, Your queue lists the follow-ups and decisions waiting on you. Your deals shows how each deal is moving, and Your day on the right shows the day's meetings.
  2. Open a meeting before the call. Press Read prep on Home, or open the meeting from Meetings. Its Prep for this call brief covers the goal, what changed since the last call and what's still unknown.
  3. After the call, open it again. Once the transcript is in, the meeting shows a Summary and its to-dos. Goose offers follow-up emails to draft and review.
  4. Open a deal. In Deals, press a deal to open it beside the table. Catch me up summarizes where it stands, and the tabs hold its follow-ups, activity and people.
  5. Ask Gus. Press Ask Gus about this deal at the bottom of the deal, and ask a question. The answer lists its Sources, so you can check where it came from.
