The Activity panel

What Goose has noticed for you and across the workspace, and how to clear it from the keyboard.

The Activity panel is where Goose tells you about things as they happen: a meeting that needs prep, a question waiting for an answer, a follow-up that looks done. Press Activity in the left rail to open it over whatever page you're on. From Home, All activity → opens it too.

The Activity panel: a count of new items and Mark all read, the For You, Organization and Team tabs with their counts, a line of keyboard keys, and under Needs you, three cards for upcoming meetings, each with Prep, Snooze and Dismiss buttons.
The For You tab, with what needs you first.

The tabs

  • For You: what needs you, and what happened on your deals. It starts with Needs you, grouped by day. Everything else on your deals sits under Log, folded away until you open it.
  • Organization: deal movement and milestones across the whole workspace.
  • Team: for team leads, admins and owners only. What's happening across the team, grouped by deal owner.

At the top, the panel counts what's new. Mark all read clears the count.

Act on an item

Each item has a main button for what to do next, such as:

  • Prep: open the meeting to read its prep.
  • Draft follow-up or Draft answer: write an email about it. See Send a follow-up email.
  • Track: start following a company Goose spotted in your meetings.
  • Mark done: if you've connected Gmail, close the follow-ups an email you sent covers (see below).

Press an item itself to open what it's about. Two buttons are on every item:

  • Snooze hides it until tomorrow. Undo brings it straight back. Goose's suggestion cards have Not now instead, which asks when to bring it back: Tomorrow, In 3 days or Next week.
  • Dismiss asks Why dismiss?: Not relevant, Already handled, Incorrect or Other. The item goes once you pick one.
An Activity card with its Dismiss menu open, offering Not relevant, Already handled, Incorrect and Other.
Dismiss asks for a reason first.

When a follow-up looks done

If you've connected Gmail and your workspace has Goose Brain turned on, Goose watches for follow-ups you send from Gmail. When an email you sent looks like it covers open to-dos, a card asks, for example, Mark 2 follow-ups done?, and shows the email and the to-dos it found. Press Mark done to close them.

Keyboard keys
